June 2000--Christina Moreno, on her honeymoon with her new husband, suffered a brain hemorrhage riding on the Indiana Jones attraction, which uses jeep-style vehicles with jarring jumps and drops on a roller coaster track.

September 2000--Christina ran up more than $1.3 million in medical expenses in her native Spain before she died.

June 2005--In a wrongful-death lawsuit, her family attributed her injuries to the "violent shaking and stresses imposed by the ride." Moreno's family plans to move ahead with a civil lawsuit against Disney, and the case could go to trial by early next year, Novack said.

January 2007-- A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Co. brought by the heirs of Cristina Moreno, according to their attorney, Barry Novack.
