The music-centric "Mickey's Soundsational" parade featuring dancers, drummers and two dozen Disney characters will make its debut at Disneyland in 2011.

"Soundsational" will replace "Celebrate! A Street Party," an interactive street show that made its debut on Main Street USA in the Anaheim park in March 2009.

While the new parade remains a work in progress, concept art released by the Anaheim theme park shows nine floats:

Mickey and Friends Mickey Mouse plays drums and cymbals on the large float, which will likely anchor the parade. Classic Disney characters Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale march beside the float playing drums and horns. Goofy appears to be playing both a tuba-like horn and a drum mounted on his back.

"The Princess and the Frog" Princess Tiana, the villainous Dr. Facilier and Louis the trumpet-playing alligator ride aboard a larger Mardi Gras-inspired float.

"Mary Poppins" Based on the 1964 animated- and live-action musical movie, the larger float features chimney sweeps and horn-playing penguins riding on a whimsical carousel. Mary Poppins dances beside the float next to a man riding a penny-farthing high wheeler bicycle.

"The Little Mermaid" Ariel and Flounder ride atop a larger float dominated by a blue and purple maraca-playing octopus.

Disney Princesses Belle, Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora are joined by the newest Disney princess, Rapunzel, whose hair trails up a tower dominating the larger float.

"The Lion King" Simba stands atop a smaller drum-shaped float before a golden sun featuring the image of King Mufasa. Stilt walkers in African headdresses dance beside the float.

"Aladdin" The diamond-in-the-rough street rat dances atop a smaller float in front of a golden gong. The Genie dances next to the float with three harem girls.

"Peter Pan" Tinker Bell takes on the starring role atop the smaller float, which is decorated with giant flowers and humongous mushrooms to make the diminutive pixie appear smaller than the other characters in the parade. Captain Hook chases Peter Pan around the base of the float.

"The Three Caballeros" Based on the 1944 animated film, the smaller float features a maraca-playing Donald Duck next to his co-star Jose Carioca, a cigar-chomping parrot. (The trio's third caballero, the pistol-packing rooster Panchito Pistoles, isn't pictured.) Sombrero-wearing mariachis play guitars and horns below the float. The addition of the Caballeros float is curious, considering the absence of more popular Disney characters such as Bambi, Dumbo, Pinocchio and Alice in Wonderland.
